Just had an appetizer, but it was very yummy and filling. The ambience was low-key when we went but we were told that it does get a little bit more upbeat when the live music starts in the evenings. They also have large crowds on the weekends so heads up on that. There is plenty of room though with lots of tables and a couch/tv area and outside sitting galore. They also have a banquet/catered area that can be booked for special occasions. Service was amazing. The owner came out and explained the different wine options to us. He gave us a little history of his winemaking process and the variety that he has cooking up in the back and will be ready to serve soon. He was also very informative about local eateries recommending some very good ones. Can't wait to bring friends here!
We were at the Grove City Outlets and were looking for a place to try. About a mile down the road was Libation Winery (formerly Volant Winery). They moved from Volant to their new location, a larger building with great wines, full bar and seating for your dining pleasure. There was a festival happening when we were there, but the waitstaff couldn't have been any nicer. We did not have anything to eat, but, the food we saw looked amazing. The next time I am in the area, hopefully it won't be as crowded, but I am going to try it again. I think you should give it a try too!
I visited Libations Winery with my elderly grandmother and my parents to partake in a wine tasting. I immediately was grateful because the lady who served us didn't even think twice and sat us at a normal table instead of the wine bar. This was great because my grandmother doesn't move well and hopping onto and off of bar stools is a bit of a trouble for her. We were provided laminated menus where we circled which wines we wanted to try. I opted for most of their fruit wine because they're not common where I currently live. I also opted for the Hot Mama because it sounded so different! And indeed it was! The Hot Mama had this sneaking heat to it that lingered in the back of the throat. It was fun!
This is just down the road from the Grove City outlet mall & next to Wendell August Forge. I think it used to be a very tiny winery in Volant. I sat at the bar and did not partake of the wine tasting, because most of the wines here are sweet or semi-sweet including the driest white, which was a Chardonnay. I am not a sweet wine fan, but it was drinkable. They also do wine slushees from machines & cocktails. They have a decent menu including woodfired pizza & my Caprese pizza was absolutely delicious. During warmer the weather the patio & outdoor area will be a big draw.
The Caesar salad and Philly cheesesteak pizza were delicious. The slushy was also really good. The indoor space was big but we enjoyed food on the back patio which has wonderful views. The location is great with parking and space away from other stores. Our server was also very friendly. Would completely recommend going here.
